The JMS 158: Rainy Day Music
Posted by Josh | Filed under The Josh Mormann Show
On the ride home today, it began to rain, and the timing couldn’t have been better. Sometimes the sights and sounds associated with an unexpected shower can hit the spot, and just make me happy.
Because I have a lot of work to do tonight on a side project, I don’t have time to go on about things, but it works out well, because there isn’t much I’m prepared to talk about tonight there is always plenty to say, but the theme of friendship needs a better soundtrack than I was able to scare up quickly. So these are just songs that either are about rain, remind me of rain, sound good with the rain, or have the same affect on my soul as rain.
It’s tough though, I’m starting to think of waaaay more songs I should have played. I’ll save them for another rainy day I guess.
Music Played:
Diamonds On My Windshield by Tom Waits
Wet, Wet, Wet, by Badly Drawn Boy
Alone in Kyoto by Air
Go Slowly by Radiohead
Back to the Old House by The Smiths
Quiero Libertad by Gipsy Kings
No Ordinary Love by Sade
Promenade by U2
The Same Deep Water As You
Now We Are Free by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard
