The JMS 142: Go See Wall-E

I agree with the public opinion on this one. Pixar has done it yet again. I loved Wall-E. And in the process of seeing it, I caught the previews for some potentially great new films coming up later this year.

The JMS 141: Is I Is?

This is a quiet and short show. I’m sad. I’ve been painfully honest about a delicate situation, and hurt someone I care very much for in the process. And although I don’t mention it in the show, part of the discontent on my end is due the high probability that I have handled the situation in such a way that it will for a time be more complicated that should have been made by my actions.
Nevertheless, the music is good.
Music Played:
* I Palindrome I by They Might Be Giants
* Eleanor Put Your Boots Back On by Franz Ferdinand
* So. Central Rain (I’m sorry) by R.E.M.
The JMS 140: Scaring Mormons, and Preaching The Kindle

I just got of the train after having been chatted up by a Missionary from LA. I think I scared him, and his companion (he showed up eventually). I don’t think they knew what hit them.
I am now part of the new religion of the The Amazon.com Kindle. It isn’t an electronic book reader that weighs about 10 oz; it’s an electronic bookstore that weighs about 10 oz.

The JMS 139: Backity back

I’m back doing the show, but for the foreseeable, it’s going to be a weekly deal rather than a daily dribble exercise. My hope is to improve the quality of the show, make it worth while, and maybe get more professional in the process. So join me in the first of what I hope will eventually become a series of great new episodes. Fewer, and farther between, but better.
