The JMS 079: I Want One!

Just so you know, episode 078 does exist, it just hasn’t been posted yet. Because it is a video, it needs to be edited significantly first, and I’ve been so busy, and unrested…

Whatever, I few a plane today! Okay I didn’t really fly it but I got to take the controls for a couple minutes. I want a Cirrus SR22!

The JMS 076-077: What is Love Anyway? [Parts 1 and 2]

Tonight’s Episode is in two parts. The first part Is all me and music supplied by Drew our new “musicologist.” All the music has been mined from the Podshow Music Network and is available at music.podshow.com.

Next we have a second whole episode where Chiaki and I just converse as a tes of the Skype recordings, and just to catch up for Valentine’s day. Chiaki is her perfect self, but I sound lost the whole time because I’m preoccupied with the confusing technology involved in recording the conversation. It was a mess getting it working. But we did get it working. Chiaki’s voice has some noise in the background, but over all, I think it came out really well. It’s always good to chat with Chiaki. :)

Music Played:
* Kinky Girlfriend by 10-Shot
* Pain of Love by Lochinvar
* What is Love? by Howard Jones

The JMS 075: Breakin’ the Law, Breakin’ the Law

I have to something about all my lacking in the Podsafe music department. I need my peeps to be digging up music I can play legally on the show. It can be found on the Podsafe Music Network among other places, but it’s hard to dig up. I really don’t have the time to go perusing.

If anyone wants to be the official podsafe music finder I’ll give you a spot on the show, and we’ll have a great old time.

Well, it’s time for Karaoke at the Asgard , so I must jet from this place.

Thanks again Shauna for being a part of the show yet again. It wasn’t my intention to put it up so late, but yesterday was such a busy one that by the time I got home, I just wanted to go to bed, really really, really bad, so I didn’t bother putting show notes together until now.

The JMS 070: Almost Show Time

I decided to post this first without any show notes, because I told Chiaki that it would be up in ten minutes as per our last text. Well, now I’m doing what I can to put some explanation in here for yall.

Well this cast is all about the CNA intro meeting tomorrow. I’m starting to get a bit nervous, as I should be, because I’m not ready yet. I’m closer than I would have been if I hadn’t taken the day off though, that’s for sure.

I have soooo much to talk about tomorrow night. Because of a super tight schedule tonight, I had to put Shauna’s brilliant Boot photos off until Saturday’s episode. I’ll be talking to yah!

Music Played:
* Rifles by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
* Dumpweed by Blink 182

The JMS 069: Dudes!

I’m late! Sorry everybody, I didn’t get down to business and do the show notes and upload last night because I was too busy hanging with friends. I did record the show however, so here it is.

Be forewarned, I vent a few times about the same very aggravating experience, and I gripe about lack of direct involvement for audio comments, and direct responses to specific requests etc. I was being in ingrate for all the stuff people have truly done for me and the show for a few seconds. I realized I was starting to sound like a jerk, so I back peddled. I’m still back peddling in these show notes; as you can see here. The truth is, Chiaki, Shauna, Heath, Hamid, Rachel and everyone else I’m forgetting… you’ve all contributed so much to the show, it’s unreal, and I owe you the fact that I keep going, and I’m enjoying this little experiment of ours so much.

NOW Shauna, not even two seconds after I had made my very ungrateful (but comical) gripe, sent me exactly the kind of email I had been requesting about the night before!

So, Shauna, you have officially started up the “Best boots on record” conversation! You have called me out, and we are throwing down tonight. Your pictures will be in the show notes. Thanks!

I love all of you guys. Please don’t get the wrong idea from some of the talk in this ep. I had a very bad day at work, and it was spilling over into everything else. I was kidding by in my relisten, I’m afraid it could be taken the wrong way.

Music Played:
* Velvet Pants by Propellerheads
* Happy Meal II by The Cardigans

Movies Played:
* Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure

The JMS 068: Penny Sly

I had quite a day. I was originally going to record a karaoke song tonight for the show, instead of going out to the Asgard, but my day was really, just one of those days. Not a bad one, but one that needs to be treated with a tall glass of beer or two.

Music Played:
* Summer ‘68 by Pink Floyd
* Red Vines by Aimee Mann
