The JMS 081: Guilty Favorites

Since I had to record a second episode tonight to make up for a planned non ep evening tomorrow night, and I don’t have the next day to talk about, I’m giving you some samples of the music I like but wouldn’t ordinarily tell anyone about. How was that for a run-on sentence?

Music Played:
* Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley
* Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk by Rufus Wainwright
* Bury My Lovely by October Project
* Sleeping Lessons by The Shins
* The Hush and Saint by Texas
* The Afterlife by Taybert Morland
* Luv by Travis
* You Can’t Do a Thing to Stop Me by Chris Isaak
* By Your Side by Sade
* Fill Her Up by Sting

    Wow. Texas. I remember they had a pretty big single when I lived in London in 2001. I didn’t think anyone else I knew knew of them! And that is one of my favorite Rufus Wainwright songs. And I love Travis and the Shins too! Thanks for sharing all the songs! :)

    Oh and I almost thing that I like the Rufus version of Hallelujah more than the Jeff Buckley version but I think I am one of the few who think that. Oh and Leonard Cohen actually wrote the song.
